29 Agency created an overall packaging campaign for Before Grain that continued the edgy brand’s approach to the pet industry market space. The execution targeted the educated pet owner and used the new food pyramid as the base for design. With the striking color palette, clean design style and originality, Before Grain literally leapt off the shelf of independent pet stores nationwide. It continues to be one of the fastest-selling pet food in the industry.

When Project 7 decided to launch their fourth line of consumer goods, 29 Agency found a way to make the packaging environmentally friendly, convenient and fun. Now that's fresh!

When 29 Agency was contracted to create Project 7's packaging design both aesthetics and social responsibility were taken into account. Because Project 7 strives to be a socially responsible company, 29 Agency sought ways to keep that integrity throughout all of the materials used for packaging. The water bottles are made from 100% recyclable PET and labels printed with water-based inks. The gum wraps are made from 40% post consumer recycled material. Instead of traditional trays, Project 7 water is shipped in cases also made from recycled material. This allows the company to ship the same amount of water in four trucks that traditionally takes five – cutting energy and material consumption by an average of over 25%.

When Merrick Pet Care wanted to launch a new line of pet food that would break the mold, whom did they contact to come up with the identity? 29 Agency. 29 created a brand that not only broke with tradition, but also told the nutrition story of the food – New School Pyramid, Old School Nutrition. Before Grain quickly became one of the fastest-selling Dog and Cat food in the industry and the identity was recognized by many industry experts.

When you are a high-end interior designer you need a look to match. 29 Agency was contracted to create just that. Utilizing a modern and edgy font treatment and well known decorating icon, 29 built an identity that was both fresh and strong. The color palette only enhanced the effect.

How do you make an impact in a saturated market space? With a killer brand that sets you apart. 29 Agency was contracted to create the identity/brand for Project 7, including the name, logo, font, tagline and color palette. The look was derived from Project 7’s goal to change the situation the world is facing today in the seven areas of need already identified by Project 7. With the creation of the tagline “Change the Score” Project 7’s logo was born. The gritty, honest look has been both a favorite of consumers and critics alike.

After being around for a few decades, Merrick Pet Care was in need of a face-lift. 29 Agency was contracted to create a new identity that would instill the same 5-star quality and capitalize on Merrick’s strong brand-loyalty while taking the brand to the next level. The new look established a traditional, clean look that is timeless and strong. Retailers immediately embraced the new look and feedback was overwhelming, in a good way!

An innovative brand, like Before Grain, needs an innovative site to match. 29 Agency created BeforeGrain.com to capture the essence of Before Grain and allow users to pick their site based on whether they owned a dog or a cat. The site continued the striking design began by the identity and featured nutritional information that supported the “New school pyramid. Old school nutrition.” tagline.

After a series of successful trade shows, Project 7 needed a memorable follow-up email. 29 Agency had just the thing.

Merrick Pet Care was ready to launch a new health initiative for their 5-star line of food. 29 Agency was called in to create an all-inclusive marketing plan. One key piece of that plan was a product site for Merrick Elements. The site would be used by Merrick’s sales force to educate distributors and retailers. This audience would and then pass the site on to educate the end-consumer on the health aspects of Elements. The site was launched in conjunction with one of the largest trade shows in the Pet Industry and where Elements was introduced to the public.

The basis for Project 7’s existence is people getting together to change the score. 29 Agency was contracted to give people a place to do just that. By creating an online community the boundaries for Project 7 are limitless. The design was based on the need to constantly update and provide dynamic information while housing an online store as well. The look is clean and simple and continues the evocative brand that 29 agency started for Project 7.
